Sunny Su

Sunny joined Lusheng in 2014 as a practicing Chinese attorney-at-law with the Dispute Resolution Team. Before joining Lusheng, she previously worked for renowned US and UK firms for more than twelve years focusing on foreign investment, regulatory compliance and intellectual property.

Sunny now leads the Lusheng Beijing digital and commercial team with expertise in integrated legal services for IP-driven businesses. Sunny’s practice focuses on the commercial side of IP, covering agreements including technology import-export, franchise, assignment, licensing, non-compete and commercialization She maintains support for clients with their IP portfolio management, providing contentious and non-contentious protection advice in China. Sunny provides advice to set up presence in cross-border and local e-commerce and social media; advising for traffic realization, marketing and advertising compliance. She also consults on the regulatory landscape for data and compliance within China. Representing numerous multinational corporations for cybersecurity and PIPL compliance, data flow and protection.

Sunny has represented multiple multi-national companies as their long-term legal counsel, with particular experience of licensing, franchising, e-commerce, advertising & marketing, contractual and data compliance practice. She is also experienced in practice of entertainment and media law.
